High School Musical the Series: My FAVOURITE PART
As a stereotypical theatre nerd who got Disney+ so that I could see Hamilton, it’s NO surprise that High School Musical the Series was next on my watch list! Can you GUESS what my favourite part of the show was?
If you haven’t watched it yet, this will have a few spoilers - I’m not gonna lie. BUT my favourite part is in the second episode, so it’s not going to reveal too much if you still want to be surprised along the way.

My Favourite Scene in High School Musical the Series
My favourite, FAVOURITE scene is in episode 2 right near the beginning. It’s where the whole cast comes together for the first time to do the table read. There are so many details that I love about this scene. From Carlos taking a selfie with his choreographer sign to Miss Jenn’s audition-cut rendition of We’re All in This Together, I find new moments to love every time I watch it!
Whether you like the series or not, this scene is a must-watch for every theatre student and performer. It is BRILLIANT and exactly everything I hoped it could be.
My OTHER Favourite Part of High School Musical the Series
The other part that I LOVE about this show is the music. Man, these actors can SING. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but I was blown away by the talent in this group of humans, and I can’t wait to see where they end up in the future!
I was so happy to see that the soundtrack is available, so now I can just re-play my favourites over and over again :-).
They’ve already teased a second season, so it looks like we have even more High School Musical the Series to look forward to!
